at least your boss tries, mine would make us pay for it
When the boss brings pizza and darts to celebrate a good quarter, but deep down we know it’s just a prelude to ‘sorry, your role’s been eliminated lol
Yeah, because forcing people to socialize will definitely make them more productive.
So, guys, I just bought a new car. Here’s some pizza and Coca-Cola.
Darts? Bold move, boss. Morale’s quaking in fear.
Imagine what the boss had to do and how much convincing he or she did to your managers or higher to get the clearance to give you pizza and darts
Not saying this is what happed, just that at a company where they react to team activites like this, I can only assume the higher ranks are equally as bad if not worse
The company I work for had a thanksgiving potluck put up signs in the office and sign up sheets to later tell people it’s officer / salary only craft personnel aren’t allowed to attend. They purposely divide us by class and treat us like inferior sub human filth who make them money
