What did the paper do?

When I worked in a printshop we always just said it as “this is worth less than the paper it’s printed on.”

Paper was relatively cheap so it was used for saying it’s mega cheap.

As someone who worked at a newspaper, can only agree.

We used to say “this shit doesn’t worth the paper is written on”, paper was actually really good, brought from sustainable Swedish producers, thick and soft (great for cleaning glass BTW). Competitor’s was translucent and wrinked even before printing.
