I know I’m going to get downvoted into oblivion, but I just didn’t like “Breath of the Wild”.

Forknife. Hearing it everywhere, don’t know what it is. And squidgames. Like, you had to get demonetized first part of your life to watch it

The last of Us, Control, or any game where the story is the main product. Just make a fucking movie or a TV and be done with it. IMO, games that don’t innovate upon mechanics are a half-assed effort not worth my time.
The last of Us TV show is the same thing as the game. Control has all these wacky events happening and all you give me is a gun and the ability to chuck rocks?
We are owed true innovation in mechanics in tandem to tell good story. Games have to utilize the full medium, otherwise it’s a theme park ride. Games like Dishonored, Half-life, Half Life Alyx, is a beautiful mix of story and game mechanics coming together. Which is the point of a game.

Balatro. It just felt extremely repetitive and dull to me, and I really didn’t get the hype.

Any Final Fantasy game since PS2. They’re like, “We don’t really know what we’re doing, but we’re not going to change what we’re doing, because we are what we say we are, and that seems like enough to get you guys to keep buying every new Roman numeral. Thanks.” And then critics are like, “Yeah it’s pretty good, looks really lovely.”
Horizon: Zero Dawn
GTA 5, I’m sick to death of that fucking game
The Last of Us
