I’m in my 30’s and I see almost all 20 year olds as little kids. Our ideas and interests vary too much for it not to be weird.

I taught HS seniors (17/18 year olds) for many years. I told the girls that I loved them dearly, I would take a bullet for them from any harm.
But if I had to spend one on one time with them for any amount of time, I would stab my eyeballs out. They are children. They do childish things. Anyone who is over 30 and messing with teenagers is a predator.
I told them you aren’t mature. You aren’t “different from other girls”. It’s all a lie. And before you talk to someone ask yourself why they aren’t dating someone age appropriate.
