I used to watch every single Markiplier video, but eventually just sort of grew out of it and stopped being interested.
Also FrankieonPCin1080p, but only because he stopped making regular content. That dude made some of the best series I’ve ever watched on youtube.

Annoying Orange.
Used to watch their videos religiously as a kid… but I guess the annoying nature of it finally caught up to me.
The last one I watched was like, a Pickleback reference, and that was pretty much when I stopped.

MrBeast, I mean, most people didn’t like him before but I stopped watching his videos completely since Logan Paul started appearing and selling products with him, if there’s on person on the face of the earth I can’t stand to see or watch is Logan Paul, and anyone who makes business with him. Even if many of its videos were orchestrated they were at least entertaining to watch for a while.

Good Mythical Morning. I got super into them during lockdown. Binged years of videos and would watch every morning for the new ones. After a while, it stopped feeling fresh, which is fine obviously, and some time after that, it started to feel repetitive. Ironically my new go-to that replaced GMM is Smosh haha
Still listen/watch Ear Biscuits once in a blue moon.

Zackscottgames, he was fun to watch in the early days. I stopped watching him because he is too basic of a channel (& PvZ 2).
Nothing wrong with it, but he’s been doing YT since 2006.

RoosterTeeth before it all went to shit
MagikarpUsedFly – I was obsessed with his videos when I was younger he semi retired before making a return but I kinda moved on.
TheMunchingOrange – loved all his Pokémon content, I just kinda lost interest in the video games.
CallMeKevin – I still like his content it just doesn’t get pushed to me anymore, it’s like YouTube wants me to forget.
TheGamingLemon – was a pioneer in the LetsPlay funny montage type videos. One of the hardest working video creators of his time.

Almost every gaming YTber who turned to covering non-gaming drama content. There’s so many slop channel, you can just pick and choose which ones to watch based on the percentage of their original content/commentary vs whatever they’re reacting to. I feel in my bones that someone somewhere already made a graph for that.
If they have nothing noteworthy to add, because they are no longer familiar with the territory, it’s super easy to watch someone else. For (non-gaming) example of what I mean, Rachel Oates is book/poem reviewer who recently made a video on some drama regarding wedding photos. She does photography as a hobby, but she also did do it commercially for a short while. The opinions about the pictures were clearly her own. Something I can’t say about many content farms that cover a larger variety of topics. That in turn makes them forgettable and hardly entertaining, so I stop watching them.

iHasCupquake,
DanTDM,
Little Kelly (And her group),
PopularMmos,
Mr. Beast (most of the time),
MatPat (All of his theory channels)
I still watch their old videos for that sweet nostalgia but now im just watching either commentaries, groups or gamers that are still up-to-date in games because I still like watching them, like Markiplier. In addition, I prefer a small simpler editing style than Mr. Beast trendy style of editing.
For MatPat’s theory channels, I just couldn’t watch the channels anymore since Im not used to the new host (they’re really good, but its like changing voice actors from your favorite character). It takes time and another dopamine hit to get used to the new hosts, but I might be coming back out of curiosity because I know the theories are insightfully good and similarly entertaining when matpat was the host at the time, especially when it comes to FNAF.
Moreover, these channels just have a special place in my memory lane (especially when they were starting early) :))))

SMG4, back in his early days when the videos were just gameplay footage – often with texture hacks – with captions telling an overarching story. Sometimes even other games outside of SM64 were used!
I appreciate the effort in his videos of the last several years (from around when Glitch Productions was formed), but I don’t watch nearly as frequently as I once did.
The era of Super Mario 64 Bloopers videos was an innocent one 🙂

i used to tune into every single MxRMods video, because they were funny, well produced and informational, but he stopped which i honestly get.
but now they got executed bcuz he flew too close to the sun, and honestly i get why he did it, but at the same time it was kinda deserved.
