This is an older one but I always think of Emma Thompson who was cheated on by her current husband Ken Branagh, who left her for Helena Bonhem Carter. Then Helena Bonhem Carter had an affair on him with Tim Burton who had an affair on her with his assistant. You always lose them how you got them.
Emma has said the scenes in Love Actually where she realizes she is getting cheated on was inspired by her real life experience which is a rough watch.

The Ewan McGregor-Mary Elizabeth Winstead scandal was the most shocking to me, mainly because I loved Ewan McGregor as both an actor and celebrity so much, and had falsely bought his image as a family man. Likewise, I thought it was appalling that Mary Elizabeth would talk about being a fan of Ewan’s before proceeding to have an affair with him.
Their spouses’ response to the affair was heartbreaking too. Ewan’s wife, Eve, had the support of her friends and children (and rightly so), and Mary Elizabeth’s husband posted the sweetest and most gracious message on Instagram.
The cherry on top was Ewan McGregor thanking his ex-wife _and_ Mary Elizabeth at the 2018 Golden Globe Awards; whuch was both shocking and awkward to see. I have found it difficult to support both of their works since.

People like to forget that because the documentary Framing Britney Spears didn’t want to go there on why that relationship was so controversial and Britney Spears fans like to make out that Britney was the victim and Shar is somehow in on it or playing the victim. Britney did a whole reality show with Kevin and it’s so bad called Britney and Kevin go chaotic, she bragged about proposing to him like he was this big prize to be won, this unemployed backing dancer with a kid and a baby on the way and she treated Shar Jackson so badly when she was pregnant and shortly afterwards with getting married a week after Shar had given birth. They even had there wedding episode air on there show.
