When Ruben was 57 years old, a hotel guest told him he was the spitting image of five-time F1 champion Juan Manuel Fangio. Over a decade of legal fights later and with DNA tests from Fangio’s exhumed body, it was confirmed that he was indeed his son. He now goes by the name Ruben Juan Fangio.

During this process they did not only test him but also two other guys, Juan Carlos Rodríguez and Oscar Espinoza, who both also turned out to be Fangios sons. The latter one was also the guy who startet this legal process in the first place and the other two joined later.
Another interesting fact is that when Rodríguez was born his mother was only 16 years old, while Fangio was over 30 years old at that time. 👀
