Maestro

The English Patient. Understood it. But hated it.

when i don’t like a movie most people liked and assume it is cause the movie sucks and everyone who liked it its stupid and not because people have different tastes and opinions

Ad Astra or how ever it’s spelled.

This is everyone’s face when I tell them about Terrance Malik’s Tree of Life. I love it and think it’s one of the 100 best films since 2000 but I also get everyone’s reaction to it

Tenet

Wtf even was the story

Also, I couldnt hear the audio, which while the music can be great, I really rather watch the movie and hear the conversation believe it or not

Crash

Edit:I wasn’t crazy about the car crash movie, but I fucking hate the LA ensemble one.

Boring. Check.

Incomprehensible? Not really, it was so melodramatically preachy it made me want to turn it off halfway through. Some movies are bad or boring, but this actively pissed me off watching it.

Kirk Cameron Christian movies have more subtlety.

The Power of the Dog

Anything that wins at the Oscars next month. Yikes.

Oppenheimer. Not impossible to comprehend but also not something I ever plan to watch again.

I’m so sorry but “The Irishman”.

Tree of Life

Don’t Look Up had an interesting premise but the whole movie wasted that potential imo.

Tenet. I really tried..;

Didn’t care for Green Knight. I get the message and story, but I think the original myths message and story was better and feel it’s more necessary now than ever.

Oppenhiemer. I’m a huge history buff. Overall I found the film very disappointing. The whole last half being more about how he was persecuted by the government. I just found it very meh. I would have preferred it more focus on his younger years, his education, the forming of the team/base, dropping the bomb and aftermath. Not an hour of why the government thought he was a spy or sympathizer.

Shakespeare in Love. Oscars galore. Watched it once because of the hype and never watched it again. Saving Private Ryan was a nominee and I watch that movie almost every time it’s on.

La La Land

2001: A Space Odyssey.

Avatar

Barbie. I get the message but I think is way overrated

It insists upon itself.

The Irishman- Three hours of tedium

Eyes Wide Shut- What the fuck did I just watch and why???

I would say Megalopolis but even the critics recognized it for what it was

Emilia Perez. Seriously, what the actual fuck

The first Joker movie

Joker

Boyhood. Solid concept horribly boring execution.

The Irishman

Not a movie but Yellowstone. So.. average.

Poor Things. I don’t like what it did to the original story.

The Revenant. I will fucking die on this hill.

They should have just called it, “Leo and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day”. People keep telling me it’s a true story and I keep on not giving a shit.

Midsommar

That movie Tenet was fucking awful

The Godfather….it insists upon itself.

The revenant. Beautiful cinematography though

The Fountain

Watched it in theaters and wanted to walk out after 45 minutes. Stuck with it because I’m a glutton for punishment, it only got worse and more condescending to the audience. Meaningless drivel, and a shallow puddle reflecting light in a way that wants you to think it is much deeper than it really is.

Emilia Perez. I actually haven’t met anybody that likes that movie, but the praise it got from critics is asinine. That movie is absolute trash but it got completely hand jobbed with nominations for… being “so brave”.

The Whale

La La Land. I hate it with passion. Emma Stone is worth her surname. But the worst thing about this is Ryan Gosling. I don’t like Ryan Gosling. Nothing against him as a person, u just can’t stand his acting.

Midsommar, expected so much more but damn was it boring and disappointing

The Irishman

I Saw the TV Glow. Worst movie I’ve ever seen

Gladiator II.

It has an 80% on rotten tomatoes…even though most of the reviews are 1.5 stars and the movie is a damp pile of dog shit.

The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford

AKA 3.5 hours of my life I’ll never get back

The Shape of Water.

Sorry I’m not moved by or interested in a woman fucking a fish man.

Everything Everywhere all at once. Movie was a steaming pile of garbage.

Sorry but Citizen Kane is one of the most boring things I’ve ever seen.

Same with the Red Line.

Magnolia
