Please for the love of god not Tom Holland or Timothee Chalamet.

People have been saying Idris Elba for the past decade but that ship has sailed. He’s only a few years younger than current Daniel Craig and even he himself has expressed disinterest in the role because of his age.
After watching The Man From U.N.C.L.E. I wanted Henry Cavill, but that’s also out because they want a younger actor for this next one.

I hope they cast Idris as 006 and kill him off in the pre-credit sequence, just to troll people

Idris is 52 and would be a minimum of 18 months out from
Shooting. So he’d be 53-54 for the first of his installment? He’s got maybe 2 movies in him before he’s over 60? Love idris but this is an unrealistic opinion.

Daniel Craig’s Bond broke the loose continuity that was in place where every Bond was theoretically the same Bond. Craig’s Bond was introduced as new to the job in the first film and died in the last film.
In my opinion that means filmmakers should be free to do whatever they want moving forward. I would love to see a series of one off standalone adventures staring different actors as Bond.
Bring back Pierce Brosnan for an old man Bond forced out of retirement. Do a retro Bond film set in the 1950’s starring Henry Cavill. Make an Idris Elba Bond film set in modern investigating happenings in UAE and Bahrain. Make a very British “Clue” like mystery Bond movie with Charlie Hunnam.
Announce a series of films. Maybe loosely link them to Holidays and release 3-4 in like 18 months. Have fun with it.

What made Daniel Craig work so well in the role is that he was unknown. The next James Bond should be the same

I don’t know. I just wish Dalton had more movies. I know this will be a deeply unpopular opinion, but I always felt Dalton’s portrayal of Bond was the closest to how I perceived Fleming’s Bond. He was gritty without being morose, witty without being funny, suave without being smug, and carried himself with an understated sense of menace. I loved Dalton as Bond.

Richard Madden or Aaron Taylor-Johnson, i would prefer if Bond remained played by a native brit. Suits his character better.

**Dev Patel**. Hear me out:
He’s British, a Londoner; he’s in his 30s, and as proven by his last movie he can do action. Woke people are going to be ecstatic, the franchise gains a very good actor, the departure from Craig couldn’t be bigger, everyone’s happy.
