They are required by law to do that. There are browser plugins to suppress (some of) them though. I’d recommend one for Firefox called Nervenschoner or something like that

That’s the law. It is not websites fault. They wouldn’t ask if they didn’t have to.

There’s a firefox extension to just accept the bare minimum automatically. Or you just go in the settings of your browser and put the checkmark for “delete cookies when closing the browser”. You can put exceptions for the websites where you want to stay signed in (or use a password manager which just pastes in your data).

Because you decline them… Once you accept them and your browser doesn’t delete them on closing, they won’t ask you again because you already have them…
