Copper is so recyclable that stuff that was mined pre BC is being used today.
Elon’s posts feel like such an active effort to convince people that the world’s stupidest ideas are totally normal/reasonable.

Elon being this stupid wouldn’t matter – wouldn’t even be on our radars – if it weren’t for our culture’s ridiculous habit of equating wealth with intellect and ability.
But being rich does not make a person smart or capable, and Elon is little more than a moderately-decent programmer and opportunist who bumble-fucked his way to where he is now.
He is the worst immigrant ever.
He’s never been smart. He’s a fraud.
Alright, let’s ban recycled materials going to Tesla. Let’s see what that does to their manufacturing.

Something about having a lot of money and being chronically addicted to Twitter does something to people imo. Just like influencers and algorithmic drift, or unchecked capitalism with corporations and society.
He literally got his fame from his parents and exploitation. No hard work needed.
Throw him in with the old cans. Billionaires are our gravest threat.
Resources are also limited and eventually you’d wish you’d have recycled more. Resources are plentiful now and we hide behind that fact while we seem to have forgotten that the point of life is to grow trees for which you’ll never get to know the benefit of its shade.
Why be smart, when you can be edgy?
It seems more and more like a lot of things claimed to be “recyclable” really aren’t, or at least aren’t being recycled as claimed.
So charitably, he could be saying that the act of recycling most things is pointless because it’s either not being recycled as claimed, or it was never recyclable in the first place.
All that being said, Elon is a giant douche nozzle.
There is a lot of bullshit in recycling, but it’s not a complete waste of time.

I’m certain at this point that Elon has a huge dart board in his room with a bunch of random far right talking points printed on it and he throws a dart to decide what random dumb inflammatory thing he will post without any real context next. You know, between his countless hours of farming loot in Diablo 4 and complaining that he works too much.
I can guarantee Elon is saying this because he heard that 80% of all recycled items are actually thrown away and decided it’s therefore all useless and that he’s really smart for knowing this fact
He doesn’t want anyone to be environmentally conscious… that is the point of billionaires continuing their ways.

Twitter was a cesspool long before Elon got it, when he was convicted of lying on his personal account Elon said he likes to troll and post stupid shit too. Elon likes to troll sometimes, who’s more stupid, “the fool, or the fool who follows the fool”. Dude should know better than take trolling seriously, but Reddit seems to hate Elon now, he’ll get likes and reposts.

Hint, Musk never created or invented anything, all his big successes were created by others, he just made money out of them.

The admiration that people have for him absolutely astounds me because he seems so obviously “cartoon villain trying to steal all the fish from the ocean to power his superweapon” level evil.
