Wild vs domestic parrot

Maybe you should provide your parrot with entertainment then. Imagine doing nothing all day every day despite being intelligent as a 6yo (which ain’t little)

almost like they should be out in nature rather than in your living room

I usually don’t feel much better when seeing animals in the zoo.
Like huge eagles in a tiny confined area. Like wtf

Maybe you should understand that parrots are highly social creatures and much like rats and ferrets keeping just one is very detrimental to their health and general well being.

They’re also very intelligent and need regular stimulus so just having a parrot in its cage and leaving it like some kind of decoration is cruel.
