Itโs almost like you shouldโve sacrificed a portion of your enormous wealth to support the systems and programs that wouldโve prevented this for everyone. This exact attitude is what gets us here in the first place.

This was the norm for a long time in London after the great fire. If your house didnโt have the proper fire mark, some private firefighting companies hired by the insurance provides wouldnโt put the fire out.

In the 2018 Malibu fire my boss had a private fire crew protecting their house. Back then it ran I think about 30k a day, I can only imagine the cost in this situation.ย

For the people not seeing the issue.
If protective services are privatized enough, then only the worst will work for the public sector.
Look at cops. The best people are hired away to the private sector and what we get left with is the people who are doing it for the power.

Interesting how rich people say they “Will pay any amount” when shit hits the fan, but when asked to pay their fair share, they literally promote and put in office a borderline fascist with no regard for the public good.

Funny thing is there are insurance companies that provide private firefighters. All they do is set defensive space, set up sprinkler systems(usually fail if there’s no good backing) or generator set up. Take pictures before and leave till after the fire passes. Come back and take pictures of aftermath to confirm insurance coverage.
