I just drop a few ice cubes in there. Keeps the water cold until the next day.

use plastic bottles, throw them in the trash so the plastic can’t be reused, and more oil is depleted in replacing it.

Get a water filter you can put in your fridge. Don’t trust the tap water. I have a pur where the top half is pour reservoir, amd the bottom half is filtered water. Fridge cold and filtered in a double walled vacuum sealed stainless steel tumbler that I have a nice lid for keeps my drink cold for hours.

Just get a second and third bottle, fill them all and put the first 2 In the fridge. By the time the third one is filled water should be cold enough for DIRECT CONSUMPTION

Here’s an interesting thought. When water goes down the drain, where does it go?
Ultimately, it ends up in a body of water, which then evaporates and froms coulds. They rain, bringing down fresh water.
Wasting water matters for the environment where there isn’t that much of it
Where there is it does not matter for the environment nut it does for your wallet. So next time you see water going down the drain imagine it’s your money 😉

Zero care about environmental bullshit, but less microplastics in my water is always a good thing.

A long lasting plastic water bottle you can use for 40 years is just as environmentally friendly as that stainless steel one.
