Child trafficker, as well.

What exactly are you suggesting there Matty-boy? That the government should directly intervene in the people’s food choices? You gonna send the cops around to slap the cheeseburgers out of people’s hands if they don’t meet the government’s definition of healthy? Am I gonna need to show my papers before I’m allowed to supersize?

Doesn’t sound too much like freedom to me.

At least we can all agree that we are not in fact, a serious country.

If our government were actually concerned with obesity maybe it should stop heavily subsidizing corn production, with billions of dollars allocated annually. This incentivizes the production of HFCS, a cheap sweetener used in processed foods and beverages. HFCS is pervasive because it lowers production costs for manufacturers while increasing caloric density in foods.
Research shows HFCS contributes disproportionately to obesity compared to other sweeteners. It promotes visceral fat accumulation, insulin resistance, and metabolic syndrome—key drivers of obesity and related diseases like diabetes and heart disease. Americans consume an average of 60 pounds of HFCS per year, correlating with rising obesity rates since the 1970s.

Or a 34-count convicted felon and rapist become President.

I thought these people were against government overreach and too much nanny government. Yet here we are, with Matty Boy, who is apparently implying that the government should be strictly controlling exactly how much food people are eating.

Doesn’t North Korea do something similar, in a sort of non-intentional low level mass famine sort of way?

The irony is that he’s right. No serious country would have food and healthcare systems this fucked up, nor would it display the kind of absolute disdain Americans have for anyone who needs any kind of help, ever.

I think the only way this is going to change is if we the people find a way to make this kind of hate less profitable and life-sustaining than it currently is.

If the government won’t take care of it’s venerable population what’s the point in having it?

Attorney Genital.

FTFY.

Don’t forget Gaetz introduced KKKarolime Leavitt to her 60 year old sugar daddy husband.

Ouch.

Stop upvoting old reposts by karma farming spam accounts

Remind me again, who funds the government?

I mean I was raised on WIC thru Reagan and Bush.

Fuck them

You mean the our money that we pay into so we can take care of each other. I AM SO DONE WITH PEOPLE WHO LACK EMPATHY!!!

They didn’t nominate the pedophile for AG, the president did. The people *elected* a pedophile to be president though

He’s right. It’s sad that we’ve allowed people to eat their way onto disability.

SNAP isn’t enough to buy healthy food. It’s legal to put harmful chemicals into food. Processed food is scientifically engineered to be as addictive as possible. Fruit has been engineered to have levels of sugar so high that they were not previously occurring in nature. Physical fitness and nutrition programs are crap in rural schools, areas where obesity rates are highest. Food companies are able to lie on labels with no repercussions or oversight.

I’m sure this is what Matt was talking about.

As long as some seriously rich people make money out of the crap food they create, you’re never going to be eating healthy food.

A serious country would have higher standards for food quality and regulate their food production industries so people dont have business putting profits over food standards.

Here we are…

Matt Gaetz is not the arbiter of seriousness. The only thing he ever took seriously was the first line of coke he zooted up every morning
