Conservatives: actually removing this law means there will be less sewage in the water, as the free market and customers will choose to give their business to the company which pollutes less. Less regulation reduces cost, so there’s more money to spend on not polluting.
Reality: they all pollute more, until one company buys all the others, forms a monopoly, drives all startups out of business and becomes a super polluter.
It’s the free market, dummy!

More than likely what will happen now is some private company with probably some boring name will “win” a government contract to clean up the water supply.
They won’t answer. And if one did respond, they would answer a different question. Not the one asked. Plus them drinking raw sewage is what they’ve been doing ever since they backed orange felon.
